“assurance and technical audits are beneficial for assessing diving company competence and equipment quality/suitability”

Company Assurance Audits:

Diving companies can have very wide ranging backgrounds and experience and selecting the right one for your project is extremely important.  With an assurance audit we will assess the diving contractor on your behalf via a systematic appraisal of internal procedures and processes, safety and environmental management systems, equipment planned maintenance, competence and capabilities, to provide you with an insight as to whether they have the credentials to deliver a safe and professional service.

Technical Audits:

Diving equipment is subject to the harshest of conditions and it is therefore vitally important that it is maintained to the very highest of standards through a planned maintenance system. The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has a Code of Practice for the initial and periodic examination, testing and certification of diving plant and equipment and the Diving Equipment Systems Inspection Guidance Notes (DESIGN) gives examples of good practice by providing advice on the ways in which inspection and testing of diving plant and equipment should be carried out. Our auditors will conduct a thorough physical inspection of the dive systems included in the package and will cross reference each asset with PMS certification to ensure that equipment has been maintained to the very highest standard. We use IMCA and ADC guidance notes as our standard format for conducting all technical audits.
